Clinical Depression Therapy

Different from simply feeling sad, depression can be an exhausting and overwhelming experience, especially when you don’t know how to start feeling better. We can help you talk through how you’re feeling and support you in making the changes you need.

Anxiety

While we can all feel anxious from time to time, experiencing an anxiety disorder can feel like a constant battle. We can get to the bottom of what’s troubling you and talk about some healthy coping strategies.

Trauma

With various causes and manifesting in a variety of ways, trauma can feel like a major setback in your life and general wellbeing. We can talk about your experience/s and help you find ways to move forward.

Relationships

Relationships can be confusing, stressful and overwhelming to navigate. We offer one-on-one therapy to support you in your relationships, as well as relationship counselling to help you and your partner talk through your concerns.

Grief

Grief can have a variety of triggers and can show in many different ways per person. You don’t have to go through grief alone – whether you need a listening ear or advice on how to move forward with your life, we’re here to help.

Eating Disorders

Complex and manifesting in different types, eating disorders can have a significant impact on your life, from physical health struggles to social isolation. In a judgement-free, safe space, we can work on overcoming your disorder together.

Substance Abuse

The harmful or hazardous use of a substance can lead to a multitude of negative outcomes, such as addiction, physical harm or mental harm. Supporting you to speak freely, without judgement, we are here to help you through substance abuse.

Perinatal Mental Health

During pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, mental health issues such as depression and anxiety can occur due to a variety of factors. We understand that a healthy mind is highly important throughout all stages of having a child, and are here to help you achieve it.

Stress & Burnout

From a high work load to caregiver burnout, stress and exhaustion can have a number of causes and when experienced for long enough, can impact quality of life. We can help you talk through the cause of your stress or burnout and provide coping strategies to manage stress.

Perimenopause / Menopause

Naturally occurring in women as we age, perimenopause and menopause can cause a range of physical and emotional symptoms, that can feel confusing and overwhelming to experience on our own. Our all-women team can provide you with the support you need.

ASD

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can impact many aspects of daily life and can show differently in each patient. With the right level of support, we can provide you with a deep understanding and help you manage your daily life with CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).

ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can interfere with the ability to regulate attention, impulses and hyperactivity, which can be hard to manage without support. Therapy can help to put strategies in place to improve your daily life.

OCD

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can be characterised by obsessive or distressing thoughts, repetitive or ritualistic behaviours and an obsession with order or symmetry, although each symptom can vary greatly per person. We can talk through your OCD and identify some helpful ways to cope from day-to-day.

We Are Always Happy To Help!

If you’re noticing that you’re more on edge lately or that work is stressing you out much more than usual, please reach out to us for help. Some people seek our support for traumatic experiences, anxiety, or depression. Others reach out to us because they’re just feeling a bit overwhelmed with their everyday life. Whether it’s something specific that you need help with or just a general feeling of dissatisfaction or unfulfillment, we can help!

We also provide weekend and weeknight appointments in order to accommodate your busy schedule. This enables you to seek help from the comfort of your own home, which is not only convenient but also helps many people feel more at ease when seeking treatment.

Pricing Considerations

Before you book your appointment to see a psychologist, it is important to consider the costs involved. This will help you to weigh your options and make the right decision for you and your health. Patients who have a referral/mental health care plan from a GP will be eligible to see a psychologist at a rebated price. We accept direct deposit or credit card/debit cards.

To suit your individual needs and preferences, sessions with a psychologist can be spaced weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. For more information about costs, inquire at Pynk Health.
