Registered Psychologist
About Me
I am Jessica, an early career Registered Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families across private practice and NDIS settings. I am passionate about creating a safe and compassionate therapeutic environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. I work to integrate trauma-informed, attachment-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches to promote growth, wellbeing, and meaningful change.
Presentations
I have experience in working with a wide range of individuals and challenges, and have a special interest in:
- Children and Youth Mental Health: Supporting children and adolescents to manage anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, autism, and social challenges.
- Adults and Young Adults: Managing anxiety, depression, and life transitions
- Individuals with Trauma: PTSD, grief, and trauma recovery
- People Facing Life Transitions: Career changes, relocation, or personal growth
- Neurodiversity: Understanding individual differences, identifying coping strategies, and building functional capacity.
Whether you’re facing specific mental health concerns or simply looking for support in your personal or professional life, I’m here to help.
Therapies
I employ evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Some of the therapies I use include:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Helping you change negative thinking patterns and behaviours.
Trauma-Focused Therapy: Healing from traumatic events through targeted interventions.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR): designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.
