Eliza Charalambous

Registered Psychologist - Clinical Psychology Registrar

Eliza approaches therapy from a holistic, person-centred and trauma informed lens. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is fundamental and therefore prioritises an approach based on empowerment and collaboration.  She believes that people are the experts of their own experience and healing can happen when that is honoured by providing a safe, accepting, and therapeutic space for clients to reflect, be heard and explore. Eliza is a strong believer that therapy works when client and practitioner come together as a team in a non-judgemental environment. In order to support clients within the therapy space, Eliza draws from a range of evidence-based approaches and tailors therapy to each individual client depending on their unique story, needs and therapeutic goals. Her hope and intention is to help empower every client to create the long lasting and meaningful change they desire.

Eliza has experience working with various mental health concerns and clinical presentations including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, eating disorders, body image issues, low self esteem, grief and loss, work related stress, domestic and family violence, sexual assault, and general wellbeing issues.”
