Therapies
Although Jo uses a blend of evidence-based approaches to ensure that her work meets the needs of each individual client, her primary focus is EMDR therapy.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people process their past experiences by reducing the emotional intensity of those memories. It has been found to be effective for conditions like PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety, and other emotional challenges, as well as difficulties with relationships or recovering from grief.
