About Me

I am Stephanie, a registered psychologist with over 10 years experience across a number of fields including NDIS, corrections, child protection and private practice. I am passionate about creating a therapeutic journey that is tailored to your needs and goals to ensure a meaningful and fulfilling outcome.

Presentations

I specialise in working with a wide range of individuals, including:

• Adults and Young adults: Management of mental health, burnout, life transitions and improving quality of life. I work with kids, adolescents and adults.
• Individuals: Relationship issues, communication difficulties, and conflict resolution
• Individuals with Trauma: PTSD, grief, and trauma recovery
• Neurodiversity: Understanding and identifying coping strategies
• NDIS Participants: I’ve completed additional training and compliance requirements to provide services within the NDIS framework, with a commitment to NDIA practice standards, participant safety, ethical care and quality support principles. I can work with participants of all ages including kids and adolescents.

Therapies

I employ evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Some of the therapies I use include:

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: Acknowledging and giving space to negative thoughts and feelings whilst working towards your values
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Helping you change negative thinking patterns and behaviours.
• Trauma-Focused Therapy: Healing from traumatic events through targeted interventions.
• Couples Therapy: Through Gottman based strategies helping partners improve the quality of their relationship and connection (One on One)
