Rebekah has been practising as a psychologist for seven years across many contexts and communities, including educational and community settings, urban and remote communities, and diverse ages. She also has experience working with individuals from all walks of life, those diverse in gender, sexuality, diverse, faith, culture, ability and neurodiversity. Rebekah’s primary interest is supporting women, particularly through the perinatal phase, fertility and loss, birth experiences and traumas, and the postnatal phase. Rebekah likes to explore her client’s deeper needs, struggles and traumas and understand their thinking and behaviour patterns. She also helps to empower and build confidence and skills to promote longer-term changes in their lives. Rebekah focuses on understanding her clients holistically and integrating various therapy techniques and philosophies to meet their individual needs. Her areas of key interest include Emotion-Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
